2012

Dead Silence shows punk rock band, Billy Talent as a more well-rounded, more clean cut unit when compared to their prior work. Don’t worry though! Dead Silence still packs a bit of a punch with songs like Viking Death March, Man Alive, and Don’t Count on the Wicked. This is an album that shows the band branching out their sound into something more well rounded and clean cut. The album brings up social and political points and messages throughout its run taking aim at religious extremism, corporate corruption, pollution, and the commercialization of modern culture. This album has a nice blend of rage, empowerment, well placed hooks, and a few beautiful melodies making for an enjoyable listen from beginning to end.
